Youth Revival is coming to Oslo!

In the massive anti-Christian and anti-charismatic attacks on vibrant Christian faith in Norway for the past six months, it seems that many ministry leaders and parents have given up on radical Christian revival, reformation and restoration in the future. Many have been threatened and silenced by mutterings about government control and intervention in both families, churches, and Christian schools. It has almost been regarded as illegal to rejoice when a teenager wants to fast & pray and minister in the Holy Spirit.

But God is faithful to His Word and promises:

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:10-11).

I believe that we have entered our greatest season in Norway, and particularly in our beloved capital city, Oslo.

Last Sunday in Restoration Oslokirken, which I pastor with my wife, Aina, a little eight year old girl wanted to pray publicly for us all. As I listened and received from this colored girl, I shed tears of gratitude. Her prayer had a deep prophetic dimension. She prayed prophetically for the new season in Oslo and in our individual lives.

“Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger” (Psalm 8:2).

We have seen the positive developments in our church for the past few weeks. The surest sign of a coming revival is when children and young people start to seek God, pray, prophesy and minister by the Holy Spirit.

There are similar signs all over Europe which has nothing to do with the secular-Christianese manipulation which has been promoted by aggressive atheists and fearful nominal Christians.

Quite the contrary: This revival is passionate about Jesus, rooted in His grace, and full of love for brother & sisters in Christ, as well as for the world around us.

Youth revival is coming!
