I highly recommend this book by my friends Edwin & Sophia Christiaan on the Jezebel spirit.
Jezebel was the wife of Ahab, king of northern Israel.
According to the Bible, Jezebel incited her husband King Ahab to abandon the worship of Yahweh and encourage worship of the deities Baal and Asherah instead. Jezebel persecuted the prophets of Yahweh, and fabricated evidence of blasphemy against an innocent landowner who refused to sell his property to King Ahab, causing the landowner to be put to death.
For these transgressions against the God and people of Israel, Jezebel met a gruesome death – thrown out of a window by members of her own court retinue, and the flesh of her corpse eaten by stray dogs.
Jezebel became associated with false prophets.
Even today, the Jezebel spirit operates in human beings.
Such people are controlled by the evil one, and the Jezebel spirit at times even operates through family, friends and associates.
Jezebel has one objective: To silence and kill the man and woman of God. The Jezebel spirit will use ridicule, lies, manipulation, control, threats, isolation and every filthy method to make the man and woman of God give up.
You must not compromise with the Jezebel spirit!
You must deal decisively with the Jezebel spirit. If left unchecked, this spirit will wreak havoc, spread fear, and hinder sound development and unity – even for generations.
When you deal decisively with the Jezebel spirit, a new order and Godly peace will become evident.
