Barnevernet – The Battle Continues!

Skjermbilde 2016-06-13 kl. 11.23.42.pngWe received jubilantly the news on June 3rd that the Bodnariu family will be reunited after the atrocious “kidnapping” of the five children. Barnevernet – the Norwegian Child Protection Services (CPS) – lost on all counts in the court case in Sogn & Fjordane.

But we have countless, similar cases in Norway about barnevernet, and we must not believe for a second that barnevernet are changing their misguided policies.

In an interview in Saturday on NRK, Norwegian Broadcasting System, Mari Trommald, the Director of the governmental agency for Children, Youth and Families, denied that too many families are being split up by barnevernet. Quite the contrary, she said.

The battle continues!
