The Norwegian reality check on Barnevernet is gradually expanding to new arenas.
On Saturday, Aftenposten, which is Norway’s most reputable and reliable media channel, published a thoughtful assessment of the practices of the Norwegian CPS.
Even though Aftenposten’s editors still do not address the more fundamental, ideological problems of Barnevernet, it is noteworthy that they are more “prophetic” in their analysis than establisheed entities within Norwegian Christendom, such as KrF (=the Christian Democratic Party), the Christian newspapers Vårt Land, Dagen and Korsets Seier, the bishops of the Church of Norway, the leadership council of the Pentecostal Movement, as well as the individual “prophets” of the Norwegian charismatic industry.
It is my conviction that Norwegian Christendom has made itself so dependent on government money, whether for churches, organizations, missionary work, foster homes, bible schools, or for our daily occupation in the public sector, that judgement must begin in the House of God! The good news is: It has begun!
